I am SO excited to be launching Plant Club again. After more than a year away from plants, I am itching to get back in the thick of the jungle. Whether it be from propagating and growing plants in my collection to sourcing plants from the best horticulturalists, both locally and internationally, I can’t wait to share the green goodness with you.
With renewed invigoration, Plant Club will look a little bit different this time around. We’ll be moving away from gifts and accessories and will be focusing more on the plants themselves. Don’t worry, you’ll still get a plant-care bookmark to help you look after your plants the best way possible.
Another aid to help you look after your plants will be the utility of a Saffron’s Garden Plant Club Whatsapp group, exclusive to Plant Club members. We’ll also have a botanist on hand to help you with any plant questions. It will also just be a great place to meet like-minded people and to share that picture of the plant you can’t get enough of. As a Plant Club member, you will also have access to Saffron’s Garden plant sales before the public and if you give me your wishlist, I can help you source the plants.
What else will look different? Well, it will be just me, myself and I, that will be doing everything. Now that we’ve moved to a small town in the Western Cape, I don’t have the help that I used to have access to. Although I’m sad not to have my team around, it does make it more special to me in a sense because there will be a closer connection to the purpose of Plant Club.
There will also be an initial limit on Plant Club spaces, making it exclusive- to 10 people. There won’t be a classic or collector’s box, but rather a mid-range box that will aim to supply you with big healthy plants, or even smaller hard to find ones. The plants will be a reflection of what I would want to see in my collection.
Ok. So now that you know what it’s all about, what are you waiting for, join me here!
